Nuestra Señora de Salvacion Parish



The Nuestra Señora de Salvacion Parish of the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay was founded in 1986.

Present Parish Priest is Rev. Fr. Robert Co Amurao.

Fr. Amurao was the past Chancellor of the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay. He finished his studies in Philosophy from Seminario de San Jose, Puerto Princesa, Palawan and his studies in Theology from San Carlos Seminary, Guadalupe, Makati. He was ordained to the Priesthood by His Excellency, Most Reverend Edgardo S. Juanich, D.D., Vicar Apostolic of Taytay.

Busuanga (from Wikipedia)

Busuanga is a municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. The territory of Busuanga covers the western one-third of Busuanga Island, which is part of the Calamian Group of Islands lying between Mindoro and mainland Palawan. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 16,287 people in 3,047 households.

The Busuanga town proper, Salvacion, is approximately 50 kilometers from the town proper of its neighboring municipality of Coron. Travel time is approximately two and a half to three hours by land.

History
